Question by jstew1186: Switch between network adapters?
I have two internet connections in my house…one with ADSL and the other is with fiber optic. On my desktop I have two network adapter/cards installed with network cables plugged in to both connections. I want to know if there is a quick way to disable one card, and enable to other card as to switch the connection I am using. I know this can be done by going into the Network Connections but if there was a desktop app, etc. that would be what I am looking for. Thanks.

Answer by Shane W
Yes I had this problem and what i did was i eventually went back to Windows XP and installed it. Then it worked fine. After that i then went back to Vista and it worked fine. But one thing i didn’t try was looking for a patch on Windows website. I’m sure they have one only becuase alot of programs and Hardware doen’t work with Vista currently.

Question by YungMunii: Surge Protector or UPS for graphics card?
I have a new eVGA GeForce 9500 GT graphics card that requires 300 watts but my surge protector says it is only 200 watts.
Are surge protectors used as power supply like UPS or do I need to buy a UPS. Also where can I buy a cheap 300 watt power supply?
Best answer:
Answer by bon-gart
whoa…
The power requirement has nothing to do with your Surge Protector or the Uninterpretable Power Source you use to keep your system powered in a blackout.
The power requirement has EVERYTHING to do with the POWER SUPPLY UNIT in the desktop… you know.. the thing that the power cord plugs into, in the desktop case, that has all those wires coming out of it? On that metal box is a sticker, that says how much power it puts out. Yours needs to be a minimum of 300 watts to use that card.
end of line
