I’m looking for a good widescreen monitor, around 22″, anyone know a good place to buy them thats cheap, good quality, and great performance?

I have been looking at the LG L206WTQ-BF and L206WTY-BF. They are both 20″ monitors with 1680 x 1050 native resolution. The specs for the WTQ say that it has a pixel pitch of .258mm and the WTY has a pixel pitch of .294mm. It doesnt make sene to me why they would be different.

1680×1050 has 0.258 dot pitch.
Seems like WTY model has wrong specs.

Most manufacturers will not release parts to individuals, and if they did the price would be unreasonable.
If it’s under warranty use it, if not simply buy a new one

I’m considering buying a 22″ 1080p TFT LCD monitor for gaming and was wondering which type is best suited for gaming. I’ll be playing on an Xbox 360. I’m concerned with response times and if the type of panel affects this. Also color is another issue because I’ve heard that TFT panels aren’t the best with colors compared to a standard LCD.
I’ve considered the Philips 221E1HSB, Samsung 2243SWX, and the HP 2159m

Question by Nightwind: Fixes for LCD monitors being blurry in the middle?
I just bought a new LCD monitor to replace an old CRT monitor. It’s a 21.5″ Acer H213H. The left and right sides of the screen look fine but the middle looks slightly blurry, and it drives my brain crazy. Is there a fix for this? is it normal, or should I take it back? It was on clearance, so I don’t know if I’ll be able to exchange it.

Blurriness is NOT normal, but it’s not fixable on a flat panel display.
However, before returning it, make sure your screen resolution is set to the full 1920×1080 resolution used by that HD monitor. Trying to display a resolution other than the actual pixel count of a LCD monitor will cause distortion (CRT monitors were much more adaptable this way) and it’s not the monitor’s fault, its a technology limitation.

It seems that most people find that built-in speakers in LCD monitors are pretty bad — weak and not enough bass. Are there any LCD monitors that have decent speakers? They don’t need to be loud enough to fill a room, but good enough so if I’m sitting at my desk I can reasonably listen to tunes or watch a video.

Not so much the enviroment, but yearly average use, how much would it cost. And too make it easier for me to understand can you compare it to other electronics. For instance using 3 monitors for 50 hours is the same as using 5 light bulbs for 24 hours.

This is depends upon the which type of LCD you are use. If you use the rackmount lcd the calculation will be different.
